Let’s see, I’m closing on my house on June 13th. Now, I could spend the weekend moving in and getting settled, or I could blow it off and go to a Dopefest. Screw it - I’m goin’ to Orlandope.

As far as nametags go, all I can say is that they are undignified and silly looking. I hate them, and never wear them unless I’m going to be removed from the premises without one. So feel free to wear nametags if you like, of course; I’ll be the Doper who doesn’t have one, so you can recognize me, too!

I have a sneaking suspicion we’re going over to my in-laws for Father’s Day/quarterly birthday. We have 14 people on that side of the family, including grandkids, so instead of doing 14 individual parties we do two or three a year, in which we celebrate whoever’s birthday is near. I may be able to stop by and drop off some brownies and some chips.

ivylass - my husband also attended UCF and he thought very highly of it. I went to one of those cheesy midwest Big 10 schools.

furt, my daughter is a rising senior in high school. In fact, tonight she’s having her senior portrait done. But, alas, she shan’t be accompanying me on Sunday - she has to work.
Incidentally, are there covered pavillions in this park? With all the rain we’ve been getting lately…
