What is Florida’s largest county by area, not population? Do you know how many land regions Florida has…or where I can find out this information about Florida?
Take a look at this page. It looks like the biggest county is Palm Beach at 2578 square miles. I’m not sure what you mean by “land regions”, but Florida’s got 67 counties.
Santos Halper’s cited reference must include water area. My 2005 *World Almanac * lists land area for Palm Beach County as 1,974 sq. mi. (vs. 2,575) and it lists Collier County (around Naples) as 2,025 sq. mi. vs. S.H.'s ref. showing 2,119.
To all this we need to add Monroe County, which has a land area of 997 square miles, but the geographical boundaries of which include most of the southern Everglades and the Keys, meaning a rather enormous tract of water (guesstimate about 2,500 square miles) is included in within its legal boundaries.
