These many years, it seems like since then, every manned, hostile, borderpost can be replaced by advanced digital surveillance and lethal robotic and unmanned armory. I mean, how hard would it be to place remote mounted mobile guns and grenade launchers int AtV drones?
There’s a scene where the defense team is meeting in Tom Cruise’s apartment, discussing their strategy and how to question Col. Jessup. Cruise mentions something Jessup said when they met in Cuba, and briefly impersonates Jack Nicholson’s voice. According to IMDb, that wasn’t scripted that way; Cruise just did it on the spur of the moment.
The irony is that one of the other lawyers is played by Kevin Pollak, who started his career in stand-up comedy, including an excellent imitation of Jack Nicholson.
Oh that’s funny. I wonder if he’ll do an impersonation for us now?
