Food porn for Beck in the MMP!

Speaking of spinach, try this fish florentine recipe.

I walked four non-stop miles (except for one traffic light) today. Ankle is getting better. Saw a lot of people out walking, too. I’ve been doing it for years; guess I’ll be getting more company in the next few weeks, even though we’re s’posed to *avoid *company. :smack: Also saw the car that got smooshed yesterday when the biiiig tree across the street from where it was parked decided it didn’t want to be vertical anymore.

An intelligent woman, despite her other choices. :dubious:

Something strange is going on here.

Thank God almighty! I’ve been trying to get on here all day, but the5 04 demons locked me out.

Not that I have tons of news. I did laundry and proofread a friend’s article and talked with my good son, who calls me every Sunday. (His sister does, too.) And I went for a walk. I figured that should be safe enough. But I dropped my phone while waiting for the Walk signal, and a helpful twenty-something swooped in to pick it up for me. I hope he didn’t see me sanitizing it.

Sunny, what a cruddy week! I’m cringing over poor Yoshi’s injury. Yikes. I hope next week is better. I’m going to start calling you “Our Sunny,” if that’s OK. If there’s an NOS, there should be an OS, right?

flyboy, you must have some magic that makes beef liver palatable. I’ve tried bacon and onions, but I ended up eating only bacon and onions. Once I found out how bad for you beef liver really is, I quit trying to make it tasty. Do you have a trick for changing the texture?

Beck, I don’t have anything yummy to report. I love to cook and bake but not for myself alone, especially when I’m trying to shape up. Would you say you’re feeling better than a week ago?

FCM, Roxie is a girl after my own heart. I love that she sniffs leaves!

Cupcake, I hit Send too soon. Are everyone’s hours getting cut, or just yours? I’d watch that very carefully. You may have a wrongful discharge suit. Even if you never file one, mentioning it might strike the fear of justice into their hearts.

Abd U still think you may get a call from that interview.

Johnny, my mom used to fix liver and onions, of which only her, my dad and one sibling (out of six kids) would eat. I like the onions to go with, but y’all can have the liver. She also used to eat braunschweiger (however it’s spelled, even spell check doesn’t know), liverwurst and chicken livers. None of them took for us kids. :stuck_out_tongue:

Probably the stealth helicopter. Can you put the harness on yourself, or do we need to send someone down to help you?

Zombies?

There’s something strange in your neighborhood? Perhaps there is someone you could telephone.

just because we need a sixth page to this MMP.

But what it is ain’t exactly clear, from your post…:wink: (geezers will get it)

Not much accomplished outside of not taking a nap, so I should sleep good tonight. Still having to blow my nose every 10 minutes, but I think I’ve just about emptied out the snot storage.

My only contact with liver and onions was having to cook it at the restaurant I worked at through college. Didn’t like it then and still don’t 45 years later.

Everybody stay well and I’ll catch you on the next MMP.

Ghost - Busters!

Well, my hours are now a moot point. I just heard that the whole library will be closing for two weeks, so I won’t be working any hours at all. The cafe is IN the library.

The only good thing about this is that I’ll be able to spend more time helping out my mom in her home.

I got her a few more things at the grocery, and I even scored on package of TP for myself. The store had got a shipment, and limiting purchase to one package. All I needed anyway. Oddly, there were plenty of fruits and veggies, except no bananas and not pototatoes.

All restaurants and bars here and in four other states are closed. I hope arrangements are being made to ship in more goods to grocery stores. My store has a hot foods counter, an Asian foods counter, etc., and seating. I wonder if those will be closed down entirely or if the seating will be taken away.

lol our preferred bar is telling the regulars that the only way there closing is if the sheriff shows up tells them to and said regulars are in agreement and aunt says she aint stain in either , heres the bar :

Specially for Beck: For dinner we had fried chicken, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, and steamed mixed veg.

Listening to Bernie and Joe debate on CNN and getting (even more) depressed.

See y’all tomorrow.

Thx for the food porn guys. Its helped me get through a trying week.

(:))

Good morning, folks. Thanks for the tips on the cat deterrent. Stupid humans.

I’m up really early, and I’m going to get myself all ready to wander out into the public, since I have to go to the pharmacy to pick up my insulin. I need to grab a box of pen needles, too. Always something. A friend with COPD, asked me to pick up some toilet paper. Right. Like that’ll happen. Bawahahaha! I’ll make a few stops, and see what I can find for him. Good grief, though.

Ok. I need to go get my crap together. Have a good day!
