Foodies, Help, Mignardises?????

So I’m looking at this menu and after coffee & tea, it says mignardises.

I have been looking up culinary terms online for the last 45 minutes trying to find something, anything that will let me know what this term means.

Help, please?

Where were you looking?

Google Search: Mignardises

Sounds like you’re in for a treat:

From this site:

Hop you enjoy them!

Hop? Hop? Grrr.

Hope, obviously.

Thanks!

I didn’t use google (obviously!) I will from now on, I promise.

I did look in a french dictionary, it wasn’t in there. I also checked out the CIA web site, not there either.

And I am looking forward to them, now that I know what they are.

CIA website?

Are you suspecting that the CIA may have used “mignardises” laced with Ex-Lax to publicly humiliate Georges Marchais?

Sorry! Culinary Institute of America.

You may want to talk to the Food TV people about a new gameshow - the CIA meets great chefs, you could give the Iron Chef’s a run for their money.

Just a thought.
