Circus Peanuts of course I’m playing pretty fast and loose with the definition of food
I was going to say Circus Peanuts, too.
CHEESY PUFFS!
Pop Tarts. They get just the right crunch after about three hours opened. Of course this is only if you are eating them uncooked.
I’ve heard them mentioned before, could someone tell me what circus peanuts exactly are?
My nomination is any variety of fine cheese, of course.
Store bought oat meal cookies, they could break your teeth straight out of the pack, but let ‘em sit out for a few days and boy oh boy, pure chewy delight!

Exactly.
cheesies. I got to agree with Doctor J
Me, the Doctor and stale cheesies watching the game
You want a warm beer with those stale cheesies?
I dig stale gingersnaps.
I don’t know if this is considered stale but I like to let my pop sit in the fridge open to make it go flat. Ice cold flat pop is the drink of the gods.
Definitely. And what’s weird is that I had a dream about circus peanuts last night. I was looking and looking for them, but I couldn’t find them in the original orange color. I saw every other color/flavor, but not the orange–and I don’t even think they make other colors. /hijack
Erm, cheese and Yoghurt?
Erm, stale by definition.
Ooh! Ooh! Me too!
Mmmmm… stale-icious…

Haven’t yet tried this technique (gotta remember to buy some of those oatmeal cookies next time I go to the store!), but I was told if you like your cookies soft you can put them in a baggie with a slice of white bread for a few hours and they’ll come out chewey…
gorp/trail mix. The peanuts are too damned crunchy when fresh.
Angel food cake.
Most people hate them, a few like them, but only a few special elite group appreciate the unique texture of a stale PEEPS!
Day old chili beats fresh chili everytime.
A tuna sandwich made the night before and kept in the refrigerator beats one made fresh that day.
Leftover turkey is better than what you get for Thanksgiving- ditto the gravy that’s thickened up in the refrigerator.
Homemade bread is better about 12 hours after being done- has a nice chewy texture but not too hard.
