That’s kind of what I was thinking. Depends upon who you are and what your food is. I would imagine a large land predators food make quite a bit of noise as it’s being eaten.

After an insane day of dealing with summer reading prize-collection, there is nothing as soothing as listening to the head on my beer tell me it’s going to be alright.

Beer is the best kind of food.

How about foods served on a very hot dish, such that they’re still sizzling at the table?

I was going to mention Cheese Curds and then I saw who the OP was and knew I wouldn’t have to mention it.

tsukemono (japanese pickled cabbage) is often squeaky.

They make even more noise when you chase them with Coke and your stomach explodes.

Celery or apples crunchiness. An unmistakable sound. You hear someone biting into one of those and you know instantly what it is.
