Oh, back the hell off. I think you know that I agree with you both politically about many things. When I first heard about this case a few years ago, my knee-jerk reaction was the same as yours, “He wants to starve his wife to death? How horrifying!”
But then, you know what? I educated myself about the case. And however you feel about Michael’s “adultery” (although how can it be adultery when one partner is incapable of being a spouse) the bottom line is that the courts have ruled CONSISTENTLY that Terri would not want to be kept alive artificially. Michael is trying to carry out his wife’s wishes.
Take some time to read stuff other than terrisifight.org, then we’ll continue this discussion.
Oh, and one more thing. If Michael is such a horrible wife-beating bastard, how come there have never been any charges brought against him by Jodi, the mother of his children? IIRC, one does not stop being a wife beater.
