It’s a long season, folks, who will win? Who will be the first to repeat two weeks as Champion? This all reminds me of when we were kids and used to play “King of the Hill”.

I moved up 1 more space, not great, but at least broke out of the 3 way logjam at tenth. My team is the Unskilled Hacks and my strategy is to move stealthily up threw the ranks letting everyone else focus on knocking off the top dogs. So far, so good. 
I could have actually done much better this week, but I picked against two teams that I thought would win: Picked the Vikes over the Saints and the Packers over the Bucs. Because I am anyway happy if the Vikes and Packers lose or the Bucs win so I don’t mind not moving up! [sub]Pretzel logic, to be sure.[/sub] So I had 91 but would have got 103 this week if I could have got past my superstitions.
Better yet I am now in second place in the Fantasy league. Whee!

Ummm…you may want to rethink that strategy. If you consistently finish 8-10 points behind Nos. 1 and 2, something tells me you aren’t gonna make it. Stealth is interesting, but do the math.
Slipstream technique is working just fine, danke. One week at the top the week prior was just fine, until the end. I shall return!
You should infer from my strategy that thinking is not my strongest attribute.

Suffice it to say that those who did not get in their picks this week (and their were a few) did not significantly affect the curve.
To Big Cheese: We all suck! Only the wicked and the ignorant did well this week. I think 40 out of 91 took our work pool, and this was from someone who picks the games on which teams colors are her favorite.
Hey El, are you the Mongoose guy? Haven’t you forgot more than once? Man, that sucks. Well I did beat you by 16 points last week, which is practically one game this week.

I dropped three spots in the overall standings this week, but somehow seem to have gained on the lead. I’m not sure how that works, but I may have to rethink my strategy on slowly moving up the table.
Yeah, I think I din’t do it in the first week and this week I forgot that the deadline was on thursday night. But rest assured I’m putting my picks in now and my ascention to the top of the table is guaranteed [sub]sort of[/sub].
