I know I just said I wouldn’t lock up this thread just because a few people thought it should be, but now it appears I’m going to have to lock it up because it’s just too danged big. As you probably noticed, the MB was “busy” for a while earlier this afternoon. It is likely, IMO, that long threads like this contribute to that problem. Unless the upgrade makes things better, I will probably start locking threads as they hit 500 or so messages, taking each on a case-by-case basis depending on how they are running.
In any event, I’m locking this one up. Because I’m locking it for length, anybody can feel free to start up a Part 2 if they like.
