Because there have been several threads as of late involving 12-step anniversaries and the like, as well as threads involving people asking for help, I have taken the liberty of starting a Yahoo group for those of us who are in these programs.
Basically, I saw a need for a place for us to get together off the board to share these things, and to be able to share our stories, addiction and recovery in a safer, supportive environment.
The group can be found here. It’s not listed in the Yahoo groups directory so we don’t get flooded with a bunch of stuff from people who are unable to reconcile the notion that Dopers can be in recovery, too. 
Membership is open to any Doper or Doper SO. We are following the Third Tradition, which states that the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop the problem behavior. You do need a Yahoo account (available here) to join, and messages can only be read by members.
