For the first time ever I am keeping some e-mail spam deliberately.

. But only for investigation purposes.
Recently I decided to sort the situation out. re-arrange the folders. add all the spam to the blocked senders list. then maticulously remove all the non-domain parts (because the domain often don’t change)
This has worked, and I’ve gone from about 30 a day to about 4 (still in the inbox after filtering)

But one of the 4 keeps appearing each time I add it’s domain, (a spam with the same title “$39757” or other 5 digit dollar figure) So I am keeping them so as to detect a pattern, and thus filter it.

There. Was that interesting?

I’ll get me coat.

Well, I find it interesting. Keep us updated on your results.

Do you make house calls? I haven’t the skill or patience to do that sort of housekeeping, and in the last few months I’ve been getting great greasy gelatinous glurgefuls of the stuff.

Oh, wait. Isle of Man… Massachusetts… :dubious:

Aw shit.
