For the first time in history players from the same high school were picked in the 1st round of the NFL draft in consecutive years. Just happens to be my old high school. To make it more incredible, they had one 1st rounder last year and two this year.
Last year Piscataway NJ alum Malcolm Jenkins was drafted in the first round by New Orleans and went on to win the Superbowl. This year Anthony Davis went to the niners and Kyle Wilson went to the Jets in the first round. All three played on the 2004 state championship team.
I have know the coach of the high school team for many years. An amazing coach and a great story.
