When I was in high school (class of 92) there was this kind of metal skater NIN sounding band that had a song that I can hum every damn part but the chorus which, of course, has the title in it…I think. Anyway, the lyrics I can remember go something like “Turning away from the wasted hours/turning away from the wasted dreams”. Really deep voice…I guess back then it would have been called Industrial music. I am 73% sure that the name of the band had an & symbol in it, or maybe that was the name of the single, or the song, or something? I am going freaking nuts.
If it’s the group I’m thinking of, they are on the soundtrack to Mortal Kombat. They sing “Blood and Fire.” I don’t remember the name of the band, but I can find it for you tomorrow if someone else doesn’t provide the information.
