Currently, most of the artiststs (including myself) tend to have an anime-inspired style, but there are a few classically-styled people on the signups (and at least one architect who does the most amazing backgrounds ever).

I’ve been in the exchange for about 5 years now and it’s fun to look back at how I’ve progressed through (and because of) this exchange.

I drew. Past-tense. I went to the Phila. College of Art and used to be a damn good portrait artist in ink and pencil (lousy painter, though). But what with one thing and another, I haven’t picked up a pencil in maybe ten years now. All my free time goes to my writing.

Same story with my mother, who was a brilliant landscape artist (oils). My sister and I have some work she did in Upstate New York in the early 1950s. But then came family, work . . .
