Freakin everyone is going claim crazy. I wonder if we will have a full on mass claim by the end of Day 2? Not an organized one, just everyone claiming something because that is what everyone is doing.

I nominate that as the first “funniest post in game” post.
No they don’t. The Bladerunner game went into Endgame with a confirmed mason (diggitcamara), a Godfather (me), and a vanilla player, as on the previous Nights we were busy dispatching bigger threats. Unfortunately for the Town, the last vanilla was zuma.
Still, that was a nailbiter all the way to the end. I was terrified that I’d played too scummy at the beginning and somebody would call me out on that. Thank goodness RoOsh played beautiful interference.
Scum don’t have to kill off all confirmed Townies before endgame, but it’s much better for scum to play three handed with three unconfirmed than three handed with one confirmed. In the “one confirmed” scenario, the unconfirmed Townie knows who the scum is, the the scum’s only chance is for the confirmed to get it wrong. In the no-confirmed scenario, scum just needs one of the two to be wrong.
I can’t believe they are allowing the conversation to become about how hawk will handle modkills.
It probably seems like a safe topic at this point. It doesn’t really affect anything if the conversation gets cut off because of the day ending. I think they might be getting a little anxious.

Well, dead again in the first couple of days, I figured I would have to die before my guest membership would expire, otherwise it would have been the same as an extra scum night kill later in the game, which would not have been good.
Obviously I would have preferred to suck up a scum night kill, but avoiding a town mislynch of a power role is not a total disaster either.
Anyway, my votes for scum are Rapier42, he was in way too fast with a ‘hey NBC is pinging my scumdar’ after Santo spotted my error (i really did miss JSexton coment on ‘new page’)
Then realised there was no way I could have benn pinging anything , but still worked his post around to find me scummy.

Hey cookies, no not on the board- but in the game I had 30 real time days before my membership would expire, so Hawkeye was just keeping the old PTP system. I don’t think I am giving anything away by saying that, as hawkeye indicated I had signed up for 30 days in his banning colour.
I am not sure what the bitching is about the semi random end of the day, it adds an element of urgency and randomness, so people are running around saying it is not fun doesn’t compute with me.

eva - it would be best to follow along and post in the forbidden thread (this one) which is for all interested bystanders and dead players to post into. The mods and a few experienced players are here so they may well be able to explain things.
Please don’t post into the game thread itself though as it is only really for the players. You won’t be able to sign up until this game is over (could be at least a month or more) and then you owuld sign up into a new game with a different theme.
There were some good threads giving summaries of mafia around here somewhere.
Hopefully someone else can link to them.
