A thing of beauty…
I’m going to probably have a year or so to save for it until its released, but unfortunately I’ll probably need 10 years. So I guess I’ll probably be SOL.

Nice looking car (especially for a Ford).
I wonder what they’ll want for that puppy?
It is absolutely stunning. But nothing beats the original, especially in the Gulf colour scheme. Drool…
Thank you for the new wallpaper, Coldie!
Want it!!!
I’d settle for a Shelby Cobra Daytona in Guardsman blue though.
Eh. It’s no Viper. It seems to have the HP as a Viper just with a smaller engine.
Now you’re talkin’!!!
Juanita, I was about to go "Viper, Shmiper until you reposted lauding the Daytona of which the Viper is a but a pale fraud and imitation.
Hell, even handicapped people can drive a Viper:) I’d like to see that in a car with no vents to speak of, that needs a fire extinguisher in the cabin, and has spray paint upholstery!
Viper vs. Old GT40? No contest. Juanita, go wash your mouth.
Mike, bear in mind we never really found out if the driver of That Viper was, indeed, handicapped.
…and the original Viper still looks better than that Ford GT thing.
We’re not talking about the old GT, though. We’re talking about that hideous thing in bense’s OP.
Hah! I laugh in your general direction:
HAH!!!
While the Viper was/is indeed a unique looking car, the GT(40) has something that the Viper does not have… Style. While the Viper would be a big, tough guy in a nice $500 suit, a GT is more like that same guy in a $5000 Armani.
No comparison.
But, of course, opinons may vary
Juanita, the exterior design of the old and new GT-40 is virtually the same!
That Ford thing’s trying to hard. Especially in the front. The Viper doesn’t even have to try…
Didn’t Dodge bring in some famous Italian car designer to help them with the Viper or am I misremembering?
Give me the Ford, new or old, over the Viper any day. Give me a V-12 Ferrari over any of them.
This just in: The Pope shits in the woods!
“That Ford thing’s trying to hard. Especially in the front.”
Mark Martin must be driving.
The front of the old new one looks way longer to me, Coldfire. It could just be the angle of the pictures, though.
For me,This is the only way to travel, I mean as long as we’re dreamin right?
I’ll take the GT-40 over a Viper, no contest. Think they’ll offer the Gurney bubble as an option?
But heck, as long as we’re dreaming.
So that means it won’t suck?
The only famous car designer involved in the viper that I know of is Carroll Shelby, who also did the Shelby line of Mustangs and the Cobra.
