Forget Disgusting. What's the BEST candy?

My vote goes to Jordan Almonds. Mmmmmm, that sweet candy coating, mixed with the taste of almonds. What could be better?

Mmm… Riesen. Chocolate, not the new peanut butter ones.

I haven’t seen these in my local store lately, but I used to absolutely love Sky-Bars. My wife is chiming in to say that she agrees with the Jordan Almond nomination. (Myself, I find them too hard, but tasty.)

oooh…you mean World’s Finest Chocolate.

10,000 Grand bars. Chocolate, crunchy bits, and enough caramel to coat a small ox.

Swedish Berries/fish/feet/whatever (which, surprisingly, you can’t get in Sweden),
Glosette Raisins,
Nibs,
Licorice Allsorts,
Wine Gums.

Lindt Extra Dark. Puts everything else to shame, including Godiva, Toblerone, and anything else.

Oh Please!!! Peanut Butter Cups

a narcotic or something

you can't take a regular candy bar and set it out all the
way across the room and smell it like you can these bars

you can survive only eating these things...and you know that ain't right!

My favorite has always been plain Hershey Bars.

(You gotta love Milton Hershey: philanthropist and candy-maker!)

dark chocolate aero bars
lindt “lindor” chocolate balls (which always make me think of Chef from South Park, salty chocolate balls…), especially the dark chocolate ones, but milk chocolate and amaretto are pretty good too

Ooh…yum. That chocolate rocks. I like the crispy bars. My teeth always felt like they were going to break into bits on the almonds. Tragically, my sister won’t sell any more to me. She refuses to sell candy for her school, the traitor.

But $2 a bar? That’s pretty much a ripoff. Yes. I’m not sure if any candy bar is worth $2…not even a Cadbury Creme Egg, which I adore.

Heath Bars

Doesn’t get better than that.
Thank you, goodnight

Skor. Yummmmmm!

Oh and I’ll second the chocolate Riesens. I bought a huge bag at Costco last month and every day I sneak in my co-worker’s desk (where the candy is stored) and take out a couple.

If I’m in a chocolate mood, it’s gotta be a Toblerone.

If I’m craving something else, BottleCaps all the way baby.

And if I want something “normal”, I grab a Snickers.

Bit O’ Honey. And no, I ain’t kiddin’.

I’m not really into chocolate that much, but I just scored a bag of my favorite Japanese candy. All that’s left is the empty wrappers. It is “Hokkaido gyuunyuu softokyandei” or “soft milk candy from Hokkaido” and it has a silly picture of a cow on the package. Yummy soft chewy calcium-enriched sugary-milk-flavored candy that melts in your mouth. It is vaguely like caramel, but much softer, and much more milky, with a vague hint of butter and custard. Yumm. You can buy them at Mitsuwa near Chicago. But leave some for me!

a scotchmallow bar from see’s candies.

or a zagnut.

or good jellybeans or swedish fish.

im also partial to robins eggs, but you can only get em at easter.

there is a reason i am a fat guy.
