If I want something special, it’s Lindt mocha. Otherwise, Reese’s original peanut butter cups. Prior to discovering Lindt, it was Bounty dark. Too bad Bounty wasn’t around long, the moist coconut was much better than the dry stuff in Mounds/Almond Joy.
Yes, my achilles heel.
But for year round fun, nothing beats Junior Mints. They’re quite refreshing.
Non-chocolate:
Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies
Jelly Bellies - especially buttered popcorn

Euphoria Chocolate Co.'s truffles
Anything from See’s Candies
Reese’s peanut butter cups
Anybody else’s peanut butter cups

Hershey’s special dark chocolate
I just discovered these Hershey’s Treasures that have caramel in them. To die for!
Am I the only horehound fan here?
The BEST candy is what I make myself at Christmas. Yessiree, hand-dipped chocolates in 14 varieties, only the purest Guittard chocolate. I have a lot of friends at Christmas.
Second is anything Cadbury’s, and Toblerone.
For the non-chocolate category, grapefruit gummi slices.
Breezy, I’ve seen Ice Cubes at the bulk candy stores in malls lately. I like 'em too.
Yeah, Junior Mints–we used to let them melt together, then stick 'em in the fridge and make a giant size Junior Mint. But no one has mentioned my favorite (probably because they’re hard to find)------ Idaho Spud!
Reading this whole thread made me slobber all over myself. I have to agree that WFC is the greatest chocolate ever created, and may very well be worth $2 a bar. (plus the profits go to a good cause.) Now if only they made World’s Finest Peanut Butter Cups, that would be the greatest candy ever.
As far as non-chocolate goes, I’d have to go with the yet-to-be-mentioned Payday bar, which is odd since I usually hate peanuts.
Of course, you can’t forget about circus peanuts (those fluorescent orange treats I used to get at Halloween), candy corn, and the M&M’s with almonds. I don’t know if carmel apples count as candy, but I’d throw in a vote for those, too.
World’s best – See’s key lime truffles: Soft, tart key lime center ‘enrobed’ in white chocolate. :Snarf:
Best grab at the 7-11 – Chewy Sprees. Yum yum yum!
And what the hell is “pocky”?
Oh I forgot one. Peanut butter kisses. You know the ones that come out only at Halloween and they’re in the black or orange wrappers.
Lindt Lindor Truffles, the Dark ones, or the Hazelnut ones, I don’t know for sure which. The rest of their truffle flavors are only fantastic. You know what the ladies at work say when I give them one? I’ll tell you what they say.
“Mmmmmmmmmmm. Oh! Aahhhh. Where do you get those?”
I spit on your Toblerone, your Worlds Best, your Nestle, and your other chocolates.
These are the folks who actually invented chocolate candy. Family company for hundreds of years.
Tris
“Hey, little girl. You want candy? I’ll give you candy.”
Depends on the mood, but I really like Ferrero Rocher and the recently discovered Trader Joe’s Truffles.
Lindt makes damn good chocolate, but I like Sarotti better.
Swedish Fish (and the Baby Swedish Fish) are a fine non-chocolate treat.
[sub]I would appreciate it if you don’t expectorate on my treats Tris.[/sub]
~~World’s Finest has every other chocolate maker in the
headlock.
