How does one formally address the Duchess of York? I haven’t been able to Google anything on it…

According to Debrett’s Peerage, verbally you say “Duchess”.
Personally, I’d go with “Your spendthrift irresponsible talent-bypass fat parasite-ness”.

My understanding is that Sarah Ferguson is not a duchess, and is not the Duchess of York. She is Sarah, Duchess of York, which is apparently not the same thing. If so, she is no longer addressed as “Duchess” or “your Grace,” but you probably can’t go wrong with “ma’am.”

As a Weight Watcher, she is an inspiration to me; I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her in person and was pleasantly surprised at her down-to-earth attitude.
I’ve made some of the same mistakes she’s made. I won’t judge her or label her because I sure as Hell don’t want anyone to do that to me.
