You’d expect high-level US government officials to embody the worldview of the administration under which they serve, but apparently that’s not always the case. Stuart Seldowitz, who worked in the Obama administration, was recorded by an NYC food cart operator while he (Seldowitz) delivered a disgusting islamophobic tirade toward said food cart operator. Commenting a day later, he blamed the vendor for “instigating” by expressing support for Hamas.

Commenting a full day later, Seldowitz said that “in the heat of the moment, I said things that probably I shouldn’t have said.”
“Probably?” Way to commit to an admission of wrongdoing.
Also, I’m not sure what “in the heat of the moment” means, because he didn’t seem angry when he was spouting off; he seemed almost gleeful. Moreover, the CNN article reports that Seldowitz has been harassing this guy for a couple of weeks. So yeah, he’s definitely in the running for the Most Disingenuous Apology award.
Stuart Seldowitz, you’re a dingleberry on the anus of a cockroach; I hope your friends and family all unfriend and unfamily you and leave you a lonely sad man for the rest of your days.

I should say that there is no evidence presented that the food cart operator supported Hamas. Selling food with a poster like that would probably mean no sales that day anyway.
There is evidence that he was standing there, cooking food, trying to sell it to earn enough money to keep body & soul together in NYC… and that he was having to smile, stand, and take death threats from some smirking jerk of a customer.
Is this the “high class” equivalence of working at a McDonalds cash register and having a customer throw a napkin dispenser at your head because they didn’t get enough ketchup packets? In his former position, Seldowicz certainly would have ways to contact the Egyptian Secret Police so this is not an empty threat.
It’s Biden’s. He allowed millions of illegal Hummas immigrants to come across the Mexican Boarder, forced Abbot to bus them to NYC, where they all opened up food carts. All to undermine Our Way of Life.
Not my intent to place any blame/responsibility on Obama. Just very surprising to me that someone who served in his administration at such a high level would be capable of such racist assholery.
I mean I’m sure a decent percentage of every administration in history are in fact raging arseholes. Probably a higher percentage than in the population as a whole,.politics being what it is.
I have a problem when, as in the administration of certain Cheeto colored GOP presidents of late, being an incompetent, corrupt, racist raging arsehole was one of the prerequisites for joining the administration.
Credit where credit is due: this is actually an insult lobbed at me by my brother decades ago. It’s only because it’s so memorable that it has stuck with me to this day.
Seldowitz got arrested for harassing and stalking the vendor in the stem of the thread. It seemed in the story he returned to the location and kept giving the vendor flak. I can put myself more easily in the role of vendor. ‘An enlightening viewpoint - nice here in America. [nod & smile with an upraised eyebrow and chin point to next people in line] You want tahini on the falafel?’
My neighbor and his two brothers run the party store here and have similar situations due to ethnic disparity with customers. At their store: ’ Which vodka’s good?’ - ‘[with big smile and laugh] couldn’t tell ya on account of my religion and all.’ '[His brother with a giggle]-they’re all ‘bout the same- filtered from the same charcoal briquettes.’
