Correct. It’s ridiculous to act like Biden is running for king or something, like he is going to be completely in charge of the entire country if he wins. No, we’re not voting for Biden alone, we’re voting for his cabinet, for the fact that he’s going to put people in positions of power in the government who are actually qualified to be there. Biden could be a convicted rapist and I would still rather have him win this election just because I know that he’s not going to be putting people like Jared Kushner in charge of mitigating a disease that has killed more people than the Vietnam War.
It wont be his cabinet or foreign policy team that will be making the final decisions nor meeting with foreign leaders. Take off the partisan spectacles and try to understand why these candidates are not fit to run a first world nation. And criticism of one is not acceptance of the other. I agree with you. However in my time doing criminal defense work, this would not cause the state to rethink its case. Every inconsistency by a “survivor” can be explained away: perhaps it was a different dinner that Biden was at, perhaps it was the year prior and he said 13 and her memory is poor on the exact number. Maybe Murry stopped going to campaign events after seeing Biden on the video because it brought up painful memories of what he said to her the year prior, or a few months prior at another dinner.
The state would have experts who would testify that this is all very, very normal in young women who experience such trauma.
