Thought I had that cat reset to Pacific time, but she started the breakfast campaign way early.

Then I confused her by sleeping in an extra hour :D. It being Friday, I get to drive to work rather than take public transit, so I don’t have to leave until after the time the bus would normally deposit me at work. :smiley:

Going to be interesting to drive to work today, though, since we have a rental car that I have not yet driven, and it’s got a bunch of stuff our car does not. Ours is currently in the transmission hospital, projected date of completed repairs Tuesday (I’m figuring Wednesday or even Thursday as more probable). We just had that transmission completely rebuilt three years ago, too. At least the owner of the shop was willing to cut us a price break by waiving labor charges, so we’re only paying for parts. Much less painful than it could have been.

Did you try Discover? They are the ones who screwed up last year but they were willing to work with me.
The company I’m using now only covers mortgages in MD and PA, I think. I’ll ask the owner if he does anything in NY.

At some pont in my misspent youth, I observed some fellows at a lake towing a fake shark fin with their boat. It was quite disturbing to some swimmers.

Home. Feeling crappy and snuffly. I left the office an hour early because I just couldn’t stand the thought of sticking around another hour. It’s overcast and dreary and a little rainy and overall just nasty out, which doesn’t help me feel any better. I’m pretty sure it’s not allergies as I’d first suspected. I think it’s a real, honest-to-goodness cold. ick.

I don’t know what to think and I’m afraid to hope, but I looked at my daughter’s FB page and she’s no longer shown as in a relationship, and the BF is no longer listed as a friend, tho his brother is. In fact, I don’t think the BF has a FB page.

Dare I hope that he’s gone??
