mucking fuppets? LOL. You have to love John Belushi.
I just picked up this cd for my sister called, “For the Kids”. Two kids, long car rides, and those annoying sing alongs would drive anyone ape nuts after awhile. So I picked it up for her after I saw some of the featured artists were Bare Naked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan. She actually really loves it. I haven’t heard it, but she tells me they had Cake and Sarah singing tunes from the Muppet Show.
Eh?
Excited and scared at the same time. If the show keeps to the true Henson feel, it could be great. If they just use the muppets, (like Muppets Tonight), suck.
I’m just thrilled that the Muppet Show is on DVD now. Getting the whole shebang for xmas this year. My eventual children will be raised on that and Fraggle Rock.
And as far as annoying songs go… whenever I want to drive the SO crazy, I sing the “mu-num-ma-na” song.
Wait a minute, mobo85, Drew Carey is getting a star on the walk of fame??!! What?? I guess all it takes to get a star is:
a.) star for 8 seasons on a show that reuses the same jokes over and over
b.) write a book uncomfortably detailing your past history of sexual molestation for no apparent reason
c.) butcher a quality BBC program by dumbing it down for American audiences
Jeez, I could frickin’ do that.
Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, *RexDart, but get the facts right. Whose Line is it Anyway? was a Channel 4 program(me), not a BBC.
And while we’re pointing out mistakes, I made one, too: The Muppet sketches on Saturday Night Live took place on the Land of Gorch, not Gooch.
