Fox News host destroyed by facts

This video is highly amusing if you like facts, dislike Tucker Carlson, or both.

Brief recap, for those unwilling to watch:

Tucker Carlson offers a long list of immigration myths and racist “truisms” that get knocked down, one-by-one, by plain objective facts from some CATO wonk.

Let’s hope Trump watched this segment!

Not sure if that link works. Try this: - YouTube

It worked for me. I’m still watching.

I find this guy is typical of libertarians in that a lot of what he says makes sense and a lot of what he says is complete bull. Immigration is indeed good for an economy (and he cites Canada as an example), but he also blames the “holding back” of the American economy on “high taxes and regulations” (which, if true, would mean Canada would be worse off).

Carlson, of course, sounds like a complete idiot.

Sure. He says a handful of things I think are wrong or objectionable. He also fails to make any of the moral arguments that I think have a lot of force.

But that’s not why I shared the video. I shared because of Tucker having his ass handed to him, like, six or seven times all in 10 minutes.

What a fucker. Someone presents him with a study that shows something different than his pre-conceived prejudices support, he laughs in his face and shouts at him, “You know that’s not how the world works!”

He’s deplorable.

(And, it’s not that I agree with all the conclusions of the CATO guy, it’s just that he’s having a discussion/debate with some real facts and cites, while Carlson responds to every point against his perspective with, “hur hur you’re a dumb liar, because we all know immigrants suck.”)

Because he is???

This is the guy that couldn’t get any protest organizers to come on his show, so introduced an actor as an organizer, right?

Tell me again how this is a credible news source.

I had no idea Bela Lugosi had been reanimated by the CATO institute.

I hope Megyn Kelly is laughing her face off at this.

You could have a good debate about the “high taxes and regulations” statement. Just enjoy it for what it is, Carlson being confounded every time he says anything.

What I would have really loved to see is Carlson get really flustered, just start disagreeing everything the guy says and saying something like taxes and regulations are not holding back the economy.

It’s really easy to make Tucker Carlson look like an idiot. My favorite was when they had Jon Stewart on crossfire. Jon Stewart on Crossfire - YouTube

I did enjoy it; I just don’t care enough about Carlson to derive satisfaction alone from him getting humiliated. The guest’s comments deserved some analysis, too.

That’s not a TV host, that’s a polemist.

Yeah, I found him totally creepy too.

I like the new Tucker Carlson, and I’m glad that he ditched the ridiculous bow tie that he used to wear before.

He’s doing a good job at his new show, and it has good ratings. He is smacking down liberals and lunatics basically every single night. Some of the guests that he has on are total liberal mental cases, and Tucker is doing a good job of exposing them for the ignorant, angry, intolerant fools that they are. Some of the guests should be placed in padded rooms.

Tucker is much better than Megyn Kelly, who now looks like some sort of radical feminist and much less attractive with her short haircut.

Don’t you want to throw in some comments about declawing cats, Blinky?

Yeah, a catfight between a Fux News host and a Libertarian… it’s a shame either one can win any points.

Anyone not familiar with Wally George’s program of the 1970s needs to go watch some segments on YouTube. This “beat up a liberal sock puppet” routine is not new.

How come you didn’t remark on Tucker Carlson’s attractiveness? What’s that thing called where you treat people differently based on gender? I know there’s a term for that…

I think it’s the 10 seconds of dead eyed, frozen smile up front that does it.
When he starts talking and behaving like a yoo-mahn, with facial animation and everything, it’s not so bad.
