On the one hand, White Replacement Theory is an insane paranoid theory promoted by bigoted morons to justify their behaviors.
On the other hand, looking at the people who promote it I just think “Fuck it - roll on, replacement”.

Effectively, Tucker Carlson is now the spokesperson for M&M’s.
I hope the entire world blames Tucker for “cancelling” or “banning” the M&M spokescandies. By that, I mean, I hope for the next year or three, he can’t go in public without being ridiculed and directly blamed for this. Yes, I know, all he did was whine about it, but it’s not like he’s never blamed the wrong person/group for cancelling or banning something.
But, it’s still a direct result of him acting like a 2 year old that needs everyone to look at him all the time.

I think they’re trolling the alt-right, not capitulating. Maya Rudolph is a half Black, half Jewish, leftist SNL alum. Also the Superbowl is coming up. This is probably a lead in to their commercial, which will probably not make Tucker happy, whatever it ends up being.

Yeah I guess we’ll see how it plays out, but I really don’t see any way Maya Rudolph is supposed to be more acceptable for Tucker and his audience than anthropomorphized cartoon candies. As a GenXer, I can’t help but read sarcasm into that press release, but I may be bringing some of that to the table as a reader.
