I liked him as an actor. As a politician, not so much.
In one of those weird coincidences, I thought about him earlier this weekend and struggled to remember his name. Got it after a while and…BOOM…he dies.
Can’t work up a tear, I’m afraid. He was an okay actor.
Agree with him or not, he did make things interesting for a while. I think overall I will miss him as both an actor and a politician.
So, does American Advisors Group get his house?
Er, too soon?
I always enjoyed him on Law and Order. Was nice to see a face I recognized, but had no idea why. For a while when I was younger I thought the senator, actor, and guy from the commercials were all different people that just looked really similar.
Now his reverse mortgage comes due.
Okay actor, terribly mediocre politician.
This is a true loss. He would have been an outstanding President.
So it’s your fault.
I really liked him on Law & Order. RIP.
I really liked him for his constituent services. The help received from his office was instrumental during a very trying time for my family.
Damn, I too always liked him on Law & Order. Not my favorite politician, but he seemed like a decent guy.
I liked him on L&O too, but I loved him in Days of Thunder. His over the top “Japanese Inspection” speech is amazing (makes me cringe, but it’s still compelling)
Not soon enough, Kabong, not soon enough!
This business will get out of control! It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it!
I always thought of him as the tower controller in Die Hard II. Likable actor.
“What did the president know, and when did he know it?”
“Russians don’t take a dump, son, without a plan.”
Sad news, but gotta add one to my “I Thought He Already Died Long Ago” category.
I think one movie actor as president was one too many. What did he offer, other than Republican orthodoxy of cutting taxes for the rich?
Nope. Too obscure.
Yeah, I didn’t watch L&O, so this is mainly how I remember him. This and mortgage commercials.
