Damn, you guys get out early for uni - are you on quarters or something? When does the fall semester start?

No, I’m not on quarters. Fall semester is the day after the first Wednesday in September until the end of the first week of December. Winter is beginning of January until the end of the first week of April (Roughly four months each, with exams). Both are followed by a two week exam period. I just happened to luck out this semester and have only one exam during the actual exam period–on the first day. However, I did have three final exams, two term papers and a short assignment the last week of semester, which was a wee bit stressful.
Ah, okay. Makes sense. Most of the schools I’ve been to have a longer vacation in January and don’t start until mid-or-late January, so that would account for the time. Fall semester sounds right.
And yikes - I remember those days. Those were the nights of pizza and Taco Bell, Coke and fans to keep us awake. I don’t envy you.
