Free or cheap alternative to Visio (on Mac)

Hi all.

I use Microsoft Visio at work for network diagrams, process flows and the like.

I’ve started work on a personal hobbyist project where I could do with something similar, but running on my own computer (a Mac Mini). I don’t want to spend megabucks on it, so a Visio license is probably out.

Can anyone recommend some free or cheap Visio-like software? I’ll be more interested in flowcharts than network diagrams for this particular project.

I’ve used Diagrammix and Dia.

They both did what I needed, but I’m not a very demanding user.

There’s also a bunch of free onlines online, like lucidchart and gliffy. Nice to be able to pull them up from anywhere (operating system or phone)
