Is there any way to see a list of my owned games on the steam website, or is the only way to see the list to run the steam launcher?
It really seems like the kind of thing you should be able to see on the website. As in, “Let me verify I just got credit for buying that free game…” As far as I can tell, the only way I can get to a list of my owned games on steam is via the launcher.
You can see your owned games when looking at your profile, there’s “Games” in the rightside sidebar. Also through “Account” you can look at all the Licenses and product activations, purchases etc.
COD Black Ops 4 Blackout (their battle royale mode) is free for a week on battle.net. 85GB download though. How they managed to need 85GB for a limited mode run on a tweaked quake 3 engine is a bit of a mystery to me.
I’m certain you’re downloading a full-featured game that has most of the content locked. If you like it enough to pay for the whole thing you unlock the rest. I think most limited demos are like that.
I own it already and this is a great adventure game series. Well worth…well, zero.
If you liked Monkey Island and other games back in the early 90’s, this is about the closest to that kind of game. I played all 4 and while the last one was a bit of a disappointment, the original trilogy was great.
Man, there’s too much free stuff going on and I get too lazy to post it all. I missed a few freebies this week that already expired. If you want to make sure you catch everything, subscribe to www.reddit.com/r/gamedeals
Epic games store has jackbox party pack (1) free.
Endless space free but it requires making an account and linking it to your steam account from some site I’ve never heard of so meh.
