I was trying to download something on Origin yesterday and I was cut off in the middle of the download and haven’t been able to log-in since.
It’s ok, because it’s on Epic Games, not Origin
Good. Less of EAs taint then.
Deep Rock Galactic can be played for free from Steam this weekend; game needs to be purchased (25% off) to keep playing.
Looks to be L4D in an asteroid mine.

Tried it out, it’s a cool game. Very immersive, and procedurally generated levels. So far equal parts exploration, mining, and combat. Supposed to be very co-op friendly too.
Space Engineers is having a free weekend.
It’s been on my wishlist for awhile; played the tutorial last night. Will definitely pick this up but at a deeper discount.
Yeah I’ve played 4 or 5 missions now, and the missions take me 20 minutes or more each. It’s a neat game and I’m happy to see some variety in the mines after the first 3 or 4, but I too want a deeper discount. I get too many AAA games that are only a few years old cheap or free these days.
Slime Rancher is free on epic launcher for a couple of weeks. The premise seems a bit silly but it’s 96% positive on steam, so it’s probably pretty fun.
I had it on my Xbox when it was free for Live Gold members. I played it for 10 minutes and deleted it. Maybe it’s just something I don’t get but it seemed annoying and boring to me.
That said, for free you have nothing to lose.
Free weekend for Conan Exiles and Mortal Kombat X on steam.
Two Point Hospital, the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital, can be played for free from Steam this weekend and the game is 33% off.
Grid 2 is free on Humble Bundle for a few days.
Free weekend and rare 33% off sale on Two Point Hospital:
Having missed the last sale (which was only about 15% off), I paid full-price, and I have about 60 hours into it.
There is some repetitiveness in it, but you could also view it as learning and honing your approach each hospital, which gives you a leg-up on building out the next one.
If you like the planning and layout of RimWorld or Prison Architect, I think you’ll like this. And if you like wacky British humor and presentation, such as the disease “lightheadedness” where a person’s head becomes a lightbulb, and is cured by a De-Lux machine, it’s a hoot.
two point hospital is a remastered version of bullfrog/ea’s theme hospital except for better controls and some fixes they’re virtually the same game
Is there an echo in here?
Morrowind available free, only a few more hours.
Offer has been extended through March 31 because there were a LOT of login problems at bethesda.net yesterday.
Since it’s a 17 year old game it’s well worth considering some sort of graphics mod like Morrowind Overhaul.
I got Morrowind Overhaul working last night with some difficulty. IIRC I also had to manually install the latest version of MGE-XE to get menus and books displaying properly on a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor.
Ubisoft is giving away Assassins Creed: Unity for a week as an homage to Notre Dame. they’re also donating a half-million Euros but that doesn’t get you a larger gaming backlog.
