Free PC remote control software (but not Teamviewer)

I want to be able to control my home PC from my work PC. Since my work PC is on a corporate domain, that is against the free use license of TeamViewer. Several times Teamviewer has made my license stop working, possible because of this, so I want to use something else.

Anybody have any recommendations? A coworker recommended Ammyy Admin, but when I go to the site Chrome warns me it’s a “Deceptive site ahead”…

I have had good results with both UltraVNC and DameWare

DameWare doesn’t really qualify for you as it’s rather pricey ($365), but it is an excellent product.

VNC, on the other hand, has long been the go to solution for free remote access.
