For round numbers there are 380 million Americans. Which means roughly 1 million Americans have that birthday. Given asshole’s 38% approval rate, about 625K people share your pissed-offedness about their besmerched birthday.
There isn’t always strength in numbers. But there is always camaraderie! Drink heavily and toast your like-minded fellows. All 625K of them.

On a similar note my wife’s birthday is January 6th. Yep. And, trust me, every time her birthday rolls around the last 5 years her reaction is exactly the same as yours @Atamasama .

Also, I took one for the team and visited the Freedum 250 website, and they don’t mention this event that starts before their advertised starting date of the 25th. I guess the Freedum 250 web team didn’t get the tweet.

Idjit Agent Orange isn’t writing those tweets. The grammar and style is somebody or something else trying to mimic his style lite. It is on his account though. So sorta kinda with his approval to the degree he’s still able to exercise “approval” of anything.

The link I posted in the first post is no longer on the Freedom250 website. (Though I guess it will live forever on the internet.) They have put a new page up which is extremely pared down with no mention of any musical acts, activities or even the daily “themes”. It’s all free but they encourage you to register so they can sell have your info to facilitate your free entry. (I see the “themes” are listed on the registration page.)
The planning for all of this seems sub-optimal.
The two small, local non-profits I’m part of (on the board), would be embarrassed to have these sorts of changes with this short order. We tend to lock things in way before 20 days prior. You know, we advertise, put it in our newsletters, put it on social media, etc. And guess what? We don’t have any paid professionals on our staff. Glad to see this “national” event ran worse than the local PTA fund-raiser. (I’m not on the PTA…just an example).
