What are some French Canadian slang terms for marijuana? Herbe, perhaps?

“Pot”, “mari”. Pronounce like the english word pot, and “maree”.
I’ve actually used this, but mostly as a joke. I sounds like something someone’s grandmother would say.
Le weed.
These are the two that come to mind. I have heard some people use “herbe”, but it’s uncommon and likely an anglicism, as I think I mostly recall it being used by an anglophone speaking French.

Definitely “pot”, pronounced like the English word “putt”. Gender is masculine, and usually you’ll need a “du” in front (see this other recent thread).
“Alexandre cultive du pot derrière le garage.”
or:
“Il y a des plants de pot dans le champ de fraises.”
or:
“Jean-Claude fumait un joint dans le coin du garage.”
(Note that the final T in “joint” is silent, so it rhymes with “coin”.)
I think there are other names for a joint.

Nice try, but we don’t use “eh?” in French. I don’t think English speakers use it as much as you think, either.

One interesting question would be whether or not some or all of the slang terms are shared with other French speaking countries. In English, it looks like most of the pot words are shared between the US, the UK, and Canada, but, with regards to another often-smoked substance, British people can smoke a “fag”. In the US, “smoking a fag” would be a violent hate crime.
I live in Montreal. “Pot” and “herbe” are the terms I hear most often.
Bonus word: “camé” means “stoned.”
“Pot” isn’t used in France, while “herbe” definitely is.

“Beuh”, as in “il fume de la beuh”, is used in France, is it used by French-Canadians?

No. This is the joual way of pronouncing “boeuf”, which is slang for “cops”. Like in “22, v’là les poulets” or “Run, here comes the pigs” or "Cours, v’là les beuhs.
I never really heard anyone using “herbe” except when being silly about it. “Pot” and “mari” were the most common words, in my limited experience.
I didn’t know that! Not sure how I managed to never hear that word, but only a couple of my francophone friends were smokers. Guess it never came up.
