French lyrics to the "Hey ho, nobody home" tune?

A friend in high school knew a set of French lyrics to the old tune “Hey Ho, Nobody Home.” They were very pretty, and a group of us used to sing the song in a round with the French and English lyrics.

But I can’t remember them. Anyone?

For those who don’t know the tune by name, here’s a neat video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xRd-QGz_WM&feature=related

And here’s a more traditional rendition of it:

In elementary school I took guitar lessons from the music teacher, and we learned a Hebrew version; Shalom Chaverim.
Sorry I’m not more helpful.

ETA: I guess it’s not exactly the same tune. But we were told it was the Hebrew version, and you can sing both songs to the same chords.

Thanks, TCB. I can’t listen from here, but there are a lot of slight variations on the tune that I’ve heard, sometimes with completely different lyrics and other times with minor variations, so I’m guessing the one you learned is still the same basic melody.
