Nitpicky point. Buried in your mucked up link you have “Typhus, not a bullet or a bomb is the reason.” The article says typhoid, not typhus. Those are two different diseases.
I thought “typhoid” was the adjectival form of typhus, and when used alone was a contraction of “typhoid fever”. No?
