'Fresh Water Otter' commercial?

ISTR a commercial when I was very young in the '60s in San Diego, that had a ‘fresh water otter’ as a mascot. ‘[Something, something], the Fresh Water Otter!’ Does anyone else recall it? Was it a bottled water commercial? Or did my mind make it up?

Otter Pops?

It’s a joke. A water otter is a kettle.

Where is this true? Google seems to know nothing about it.

I don’t believe so; though I did have Otter Pops when I was a kid.

Not in San Diego in the '60s.

Stoat N Oats, the breakfast cereal.

It’s maybe a British joke. We use kettles a lot. Water otter - “water hotter”.

Was it a commercial for farm raised otters? They bred the gaminess out of them.

I don’t remember what the commercial was for. It may have been for bottled water, similar to Sparkletts or Crystal Springs.

Yeah, searching for water otter produces, well, a lot of otters. But no commercials.

Just a bit north of San Diego (and still within San Diego county) is Carlsbad, which is known for it’s alkaline spring water. Not sure how it relates to otters, but Carlsbad water would be specific to the San Diego area.
