Does anyone know where I could find the jokes that were used in the first commercials used to promo the TV show “Friends”?
Way back before the premier first aired, NBC aired several short, text-only jokes that started like “Friends don’t let friends…”
The commercials were a big hit – I remember people talking about how funny they were (even though they contained no clips from the upcoming show). I also remember that when the show started, people said “the show is even funnier than the commercials!” (Something I never agreed with – I am not, and have never been, a Friends fan.)
So again, I’m looking for the jokes used in the orginial promos. Thanks!
