Fringe 5/4

So what was Bell’s purpose in sacrificing Jones? To bring out Olivia’s powers to a greater extent? Is she integral to Bell’s plans to create a new universe?

I wonder if anyone has a complete list of the names Walter has called Astrid. I noticed in this episode he called her Athos and then Alex. (To which she responded: “Really? Alex?” Walter:“I was on a roll.” :D)

She seemed to have the power of Tyler Carson, the kid who could control others.

The Nimoy thing was a big surprise to me as well…but the bigger surprise is that this wasn’t the season finale. Somehow I’d gotten it in my head that this was the last episode of the season, so I was anticipating totally different pacing. Heh–it actually worked to the benefit of the story.

I liked seeing Charlotte on the show, but I really hope that there’s nothing (beyond friendship) between her and Walter. I got a feeling that there was a hint of something more in the offing and…no.

If Astrid is dead (really dead-not in Season 5 type dead) I’m going to be pissed. We’ve finally started to get some background for her and she’s growing as a character (and she’s just cute as hell).

Since she’s alive in the future, then I don’t think we have anything to worry about.

Speaking of the future, in the link I gave earlier, it looks like season 5 won’t focus on 2035.

And finally, I never watched Lost, so this is my first time seeing Rebecca Mader act and I do have to say, she is a pretty good actress.

She was also a highlight in No Ordinary Family, even though her character was a bit ridiculous.

I watched a few episodes, but I don’t remember seeing her. Maybe I quit watching before she made an appearance.
