Epidemiologists & Neurologists–here’s a weird one.

These children have uncontrollable neck spasms—but only when they eat.
Or rather, only when they are presented with food.
Disease? Neurotoxin? A neurosis, deeply rooted in their cultural values? Something altogether new?
Opinions?

Scary, and sad…and the fact that so many of the children have it makes it even scarier and sadder.
At one time the rest of the world ignored it when people in Africa started getting the “thinning disease”, later known as AIDS.
Perhaps now would be a good time to get a handle on this disease before it starts to spread - at least to find out the cause and source.
I have to admit, it is one of the oddest side effects I have ever heard of.
