**I would like to inform you that 2004 and earlier versions are not sufficient to keep your system protected from the advanced threats prevailing in the current date scenario. The 2004 version was developed and built on technology that existed in the year 2003.
Each time Symantec releases a version, it will train all the support agents in that version. Since it is not possible to keep the agents in touch with all the released versions troubleshooting, the previous versions are discontinued. our latest release is the 2006 Version. While we do this, the earlier versions will not be provided Technical Support.
