Protein, vitamin C, iron, folate (unless the food’s been enriched), calcium, iodine, and vitamin A all seem to be lacking from that diet, and that’s just off the top of my head. It is far from a healthy diet and seems to be what you’d eat if you wanted to teach some poor intern about deficiency disorders.
To be fair, the I doubt that the listers advocate a pasta and rice only diet. I only specified the lack of protein because if they get very little protein for breakfast and dinner, it is unlikely they are getting enough.
