Frozen fish filets in a Foreman-type grill?

Has anyone tried to cook frozen fish filets in a George Foreman-type countertop grill? Breaded or unbreaded? Does this work?

Define “work”. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hehe. Did you end up with a product that was not just edible, but tasty, and would you prepare the fish this way again?

OR

Was this an experiment that went very, very wrong and the cat/dog got a special treat that night?

I’m trying to combine my effort to eat more fish with my effort to find more uses for my Foreman grill.

I cook breaded fish in the toaster oven on a sheet of aluminum foil. Raw fish fillets on the George Foreman grill? I’d hesitate, that thing is hot and I’d be afraid they would stick, even marinated or sprayed with Pam. Does the instruction book say anything about cooking raw fish fillets?

I’ve tried cooking breaded fillets in a contact grill. It does cook them well enough, but fish is quite soft and will just get squashed flat if there is nothing else in the grill that can take the weight of the plates.
