Given your username, I assume you won’t mind if I stick to my own prescription?
One fucking joint? Man, where do you get your shit?
Have you tried the legal stuff? It is fucking strong. One joint could couch-lock everyone in this thread. (Hey, man, I roll big joints.)
^^^ Tis true.
I rather my kids be on drugs than a phone.
Well that’s fucking stupid.
Cheer up. I’m sure they’re on both.
“Hey, hey kid, c’mere. I got what you want. I got weed, I got shatter, I got smack crack, nougat, oreo, Siri, hell, I could probably dig up a 3210 or a Razr if you’re hard core and have the cash.”
Years ago, I worked at a charitable foundation, and there was this rich guy on the board, we kinda liked each other. His son wants a guitar, advice?
“Wall off a room in the basement, attic, whatever. Soundproof. Buy the guitar he wants, also some incense. You will pretend its incense you smell, he will too.”
“Sounds like everything I hate, what’s the upside?”
“You know exactly where he is, what he’s doing.”
He was killing babies, according to the OP.
Okay, soundproof and stain-resistant.
Welcome back, Shitstain. It is certainly a possibility.
I’m a rich, old man. I want a StarTAC.
I don’t really care who started all these things with the legalization of weed and so on. But I think that we chose the wrong way. This could potentially create incentives for abuse. There are so many children with drug addiction in the US. (https://addictionresource.com/teenage-drug-abuse/). And now we only can talk about this problem but don’t do anything to solve it.
Legalization and prohibition both create “incentives” for abuse. “Think of the children” is always a shitty argument. I’ll go out on a limb here and guess that alcohol is the primary drug of addiction for children in the USA; legality has nothing to do with it.
Prohibition of alcohol: bootlegging and smuggling provided massive profits for organized crime. Alcohol substitutes like methanol were used instead of, or in addition to, ethanol, resulting in the injury and death of thousands upon thousands of Americans.
Prohibition of marijuana: growing and smuggling provides massive profits for organized crime. Designer drugs like bath salts and spice are substituted for marijuana, and these novel recipes expose users to extremely potent and addictive chemicals which may cause psychosis and brain damage.
Prohibition of cocaine: growing and smuggling cocaine provides massive profits for organized crime. Users seeking stimulants create a black market for diversion of pharmaceuticals like Adderall, as well as new markets for drugs like MDMA and crystal meth.
Prohibition of opiates: growing and smuggling opiates provides massive profits for organized crime. Diversion of pharmaceutical opiates leads to an opiate crisis, and the crackdown on diversion creates a market for substances like black tar heroin and fentanyl.
Why do governments allow lotteries? Because otherwise people play numbers, facilitated by, guess what, organized crime.
Why do governments allow payday loans? Because otherwise people borrow from loan sharks (organized crime).
I’m not arguing for legalization of all drugs. I wish more people would acknowledge the problems inherent in prohibition, and that a drive for intoxication and experimentation is a fundamental part of human nature.
Mind altering drugs should be restricted based on medical and scientific evaluation of harm: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-11660210.
