While I have no doubt Obama is saddened by the tragedy in Haiti, and will do everything in his power to provide comfort and relief, in the long run, he will use the tragedy to score political points just like every politician, dem or pub.
Any tragedy brings out politicos of every stripe looking to be the first to say "By golly, we will do everything in our power to help the citizens of X to recover from Y.
They MUST say that. What the hell else would they say?
