There’s this strange notion floating around that obscenity can’t be used outside the Pit forum. This just ain’t so. We don’t censor language, we don’t prohibit the use of foul language. We just don’t allow it to be directed at other members. Thus, in Cafe Society, it is perfectly OK to say “fuck off!” to some movie actor; it is NOT OK to address the same comment to another poster.

So, this thread has presumably made its point, and there’s no need for it to remain open.
