Yeah, all of my buddies! What good do you do me? Fuck private messages! They’re disabled, anyway. And fuck the calendar and the member list, too.
Every SDMB page I load has a calendar and members button on it. What happens if I click those buttons? “Sorry! The administrator has disabled the list of members.” “The administrator has disabled the calendar at the moment.” Precious pixels are being needlessly slaughtered by the hundredfold every time I load a page! Worse, at my 800x600 resolution, a lonely line feed is frittered away to make the buttons fit on my screen.
And the buddy list and private messages mock me with their helvetica taunts from my User CP page. Internet pipes around the world groan with the added strain of feeding untold thousands of characters to Dopers who can only weep and tear their hair and click in frustration.
Death to extraneous buttons! Save The Pixels!

Good rant. I appreciate your plight, unless you’re saying “fuck you” to the mods. There’s no gaurantee that you won’t get banned for that. And surely a few wasted microseconds is worth being able to be a part of the SDMB community?
But in general, good rant. Trivial and to the point. Just as they’re supposed to be.
