For once, I live too far north to have gotten any snow in the past few days - although we got about two or three feet a week ago. Seriously. The Free Press said Metro Detroit got 3-5 inches the other day, and everything shut down? Wimps. We didn’t even shovel, just plowed through the bank to get out of the driveway.
And I live in NORTHERN Michigan, the REAL part - I’m about forty miles south of the very northernmost point in the state, if that tells you anything. The Lower Penninsula people who refer to anything north of Gaylord as “Northern Michigan” sound like they think the whole state ends at the bridge.
