I saw a homeless woman honking out a dirt snake at the bus stop a couple of weeks ago. No bushes, no cover, broad daylight. Just squatting by the road with lots of cars zipping by. Lovely.

By someone who was competing in the breast stroke, no less. Hilariously awful to contemplate. “The Mad Crapper.” I still have that yearbook, a little masterpiece created by a team that included P.J. O’Rourke, who appears in a couple of the various photos. 40 years later my wife and I still refer to freeroaming turds as “vandalisms.”
Maybe next time you’ll think twice before picking up someone else’s trash.
