It wasn’t very hard for me to find a news story where she does mention some ideological reasons for opposing Sotomayor. I can’t seem to find any articles quoting her with what you give as her reason. Where did you see that?
2nd Nitpick: Georgetown is not an Ivy League school. The Ivy League consists of; Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, and Cornell.
